French Dip Sandwiches (Instant Pot)

• 3-4 lb chuck roast or bottom round beef roast
• 1 TBS oil

sear on saute in instant pot add ingredients below...

• 1/2 tsp salt
• 1/4 tsp pepper
• 1/2 tsp onion powder

add 1 can of beef broth and then sprinkle 

• Au Jus dry mix package

over the roast and then put on high pressure for 100 minutes

Shred meat, butter rolls with 

• 1/4 tsp garlic powder
•  butter

put sandwiches together and broil until cheese melts

Strain drippings from instant pot and use as dip for sandwiches or make another batch of au jus sauce.  

Can also just use half the package to sprinkle roast with and then use the other half for dipping. It will be a little thicker this way.
